It’s no secret that the Hollywood Comet loves musicals.
In 2010, I revealed I had seen 400 movie musicals over the course of eight years. Now that number is over 600. To celebrate and share this musical love, here is my weekly feature about musicals.

Plot:
The Chicken Ranch brothel has a long history and has been open for decades and is now under the proprietress of Miss Mona (Parton). The establishment has always been protected by the law, but Sheriff Ed Earl Dodd (Reynolds) and the town face scrutiny when investigative and sensationalist reporter Melvin P. Thorpe (DeLuise) airs on the news that there is a house of ill repute in Texas. Thorpe makes it his mission to get the Chicken Ranch shut down.
