It’s no secret that the Hollywood Comet loves musicals.
In 2010, I revealed I had seen 400 movie musicals over the course of eight years. Now that number is over 800. To celebrate and share this musical love, here is my weekly feature about musicals.

Plot:
As the school year begins at Carleton College, the freshman class tries to navigate their new collegiate life. Particularly, Bob Potter (Lundigan), Jay Hill (Daniels) and Tex Hodges (Melton). The trio hopes to get asked to pledge with an elite fraternity, but when only Bob is asked, he declines in solidarity with his friends. Bob also developes a money making scheme that backfires. When a student flunks their exam, they can pay $10 to retake it. Bob creates flunk insurance to help with the $10 fee, but when everyone flunks a test, Bob finds himself $800 in the hole. Their girlfriends (Dunbar, Moore) hatch a plan for the student to put on a show to earn the money back.
